Morag Ormiston FCIPD GMBPsS MBACP (Accred)

As the founder of Moonstir, Morag prides herself in working with competent and capable colleagues. She herself is a Fellow of CIPD, Graduate Member of BPS and Accredited Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Morag started her career as a teacher moving into HR in 1998. She remains positively focused on people and psychology with 25+ years HR Generalist Management experience and 6 years in psychotherapy at Moonstir Therapy Ltd.

Morag has experience in small local businesses, to Global and UK multi-site organisations across varying sectors therefore communicating across timezones and online platforms. As an HR Generalist, Morag is experienced in talent acquisition and development,  change and stress management, global compensation and benefits, employment law and systems management. She has been working with SMEs for many years and now provides consultancy to several local companies.

Her focus on health and wellbeing has led to consider performance enhancement and engagement in the workplace.  She has created many wellbeing programmes. Her ability to relate, problem solve, empathise but retain a pragmatic approach means goal directed programmes with measurable outcomes are developed. She compassionately supports individuals and groups via coaching, training and counselling.  Morag is a dog lover and enjoys time in nature hence the logo is inspired by seeing natural growth.
