I am delighted to receive an award from the CIPD for my contribution to the local branch. Whilst I ran the local HR Practitioners Group for 15 years, I did so to keep the HR community connected and support those whom were developing into their roles. It was a particularly great group for helping those like myself in standalone HR roles.
